The subject today: The "disease to please". We all have things in our lives that can sometimes take control of how we feel, how we think, how we think we should look and how we should live. This can come in the form of a relationship, emotions, friends, a job, etc. One of the biggest, and I'm sure you will agree is society. The pressures of our society poisons our passions and dreams.
Sarah posted a wonderful message about this disease. Sarah is always inspiring me and I absolutely love her, I'd like to share her message with you:
"You will never reach your full potential if you're worried about what people do/say/think. I've had people come against me in major ways--and in those seasons where I've allowed their opinions to control me I've only delayed my own progress, peace, purpose, prosperity, partnerships/meaningful relationships."
"You are more than a conquerer in this area. The only opinion that matters is Gods. His approval is the only one you need. You are learning & growing everyday! Don't let anyone convince you otherwise. Stop fighting the battle. Focus on your own growth & healing from the "disease to please". No matter how much you do/care/try not everyone will be "for you". Knowing this, you MUST grow in this area."
