BB Cream has been becoming increasingly popular in the last few years, and many other products are starting to appearing in the market such as CC cream and DD cream.
WebMD says: BB creams are short for beauty balms or blemish balms. They were first developed in Germany by a dermatologist who wanted a single cream that would protect skin and provide coverage after laser treatments.
The differences between the BB Cream and Foundation is:
The first time I tried BB Cream I was uneducated about the product and really thought it was just another form of foundation. My first impression was that I felt as if I didn't have enough on though I had covered my entire face. I surly didn't want to look like a clown, but was I supposed to put more on? It was sort of confusing and I wasn't sure if this product was for me because I had become accustom to wearing a heavier product all these years. Looking back I can't believe I didn't discover this BB Cream sooner! So after two days of wearing the BB Cream I found that I truly enjoyed how this "pumped up" moisturizing cream had felt on my face. I have a more natural look and my skin feels amazing. I love it, just absolutely love it. The light weight feel, and knowing that the cream is doing more for my skin then a foundation would do is a good thing.
Today I use Younique's BB Flawless Cream, of course! Younique has 6 shades which are
Cream, Bisque, Honey, Caramel, Chestnut and Carob. You can customize BB Flawless by mixing colors or adding one of Younique's Concealer Pigments. Younique's BB Cream is also Gluten Free and Vegan friendly.
If you have flawless skin or enjoy a light weight tinted moisturizer on your face, BB Creams are the way to go in my opinion. I wish I had discovered it much sooner.
